METHOD has expanded.

In News by METHOD

METHOD has expanded.

We have a larger office with more team members.

We have new certifications, offering more sustainable options to our clients.

Our New Office
METHOD has moved … to the main level of the same building!

Our address hasn’t changed, #220-4252 Commerce Circle, though our new suite is directly below our previous location.  We now have a separate ground-level entrance to our new office and about double the office space with a separate meeting room for client and team meetings.

Please stop in to say hello, see our new space, and meet our new team members, Kody and Latasha, who are supporting us in both meeting our current clients’ needs and expanding our client services.

Our New Team Members

Kody Glinsbockel joined us in June.

Kody is an Engineering Technologist at METHOD who has always identified building construction as a major presence and influence in his life.  For Kody, continuing to be a part of the construction industry with a focus on building sciences was a natural choice. He is a recent graduate with a diploma from BCIT and is eagerly gaining exposure to, and experience from, a wide variety of projects. He’s passionate about solving our clients’ unique problems and working on both new buildings and renovations that are more sustainable, environmentally-conscious and higher quality.

Latasha McMullen became part of METHOD’s team in July.

Latasha is a Project Engineer at METHOD and is also working towards becoming a Certified Energy Advisor. She has nearly 10 years of engineering experience and is licensed with EGBC as a Professional Engineer. Latasha chose an engineering career with the hopes to contribute towards reducing environmental impact, and she is excited to be a part of METHOD’s newest focus, in more sustainable, environmentally-conscious building engineering services.

Our New Certifications

We’re also very excited to announce we now have certifications in Passive House Design and Construction. We are stepping up our roles as environmental stewards and offering environmentally-responsible building options to our clients. METHOD is passionate about helping our clients meet their goals of lowering their environmental impact.

Passive House Design – Matt Mulleray is our in-house certified Passive House Designer. He is eager to begin working with clients to meet their Passive House Design needs. He is trained to guide home owners, architects, developers and builders through the design process of both new-build construction as well as existing building retrofits to achieve Passive House certification for single family homes, apartment or condo buildings, as well as commercial buildings.

Passive House Construction – Tim Smith is our certified Passive House Tradesperson. With his continuing focus on high quality as the lead of METHOD’s Building Services Division, he is excited to continue achieving high quality craftsmanship while providing general contracting services for our clients building Passive Homes. Tim is well experienced to support our clients who are constructing new buildings as well as our clients who are renovating existing buildings.
